Candlebox is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington. Since its formation in 1990, the group has released five studio albums, which have achieved multi-platinum and gold certification, as well as numerous charting singles, a compilation, and a CD+DVD.
Candlebox was the first successful act on Madonna‘s Maverick Records, which went on to sign Alanis Morissette, Deftones and The Prodigy. They found immediate success with the release of their self-titled debut album in July 1993. It featured some of the band’s biggest hit singles, including “Far Behind” and “You“, and was certified platinum by the RIAA four times. Danzig is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1987 in Lodi, New Jersey. The band is the musical outlet for singer and songwriter Glenn Danzig, preceded by the horror punk bands the Misfits and Samhain. They play in a bluesy doom-driven heavy metal style influenced by the early sound of Black Sabbath.

Superjoint Ritual is an American metal band formed by Phil Anselmo, Joe Fazzio, and Jimmy Bower in the early 1990s, later to be joined by Hank Williams III, and Kevin Bond. Their style can be considered a mix of Pantera’s style of groove metal and hardcore punk. A small trace of black metal can be heard, as well.
Veil of Maya is an American deathcore band, formed in Chicago, Illinois by members Marc Okubo and Sam Applebaum in 2004. The group is currently signed to Sumerian Records and has released five full-length studio albums. They are considered to use elements of djent.
