DJ Supreme (Jon Malone) has worn many hats throughout his experiences in the entertainment industry. It’s his passion for deejaying and producing that allows Supreme to present his artistic talents. DJ Supreme’s sets fuse classic hip hop with funk, soul samples, Motown and classic rock as well as today’s hits. Hip hop legend Doug E. Fresh calls DJ Supreme “a hip hop encyclopedia”.
DJ Supreme was born and raised in Detroit, MI but made the south his home in 1989, which is when he made his first beat. His professional career began in 1995 when he moved to Los Angeles, CA to work as an A&R at Motown Records. In 1998, Supreme began a successful radio career in Birmingham, AL where he continues to be a staple. He is the host of The Classic Hip Hop Show for the past eight years.
