Fretted Instruments started in 1974 in Homewood, Alabama near Demetri’s BBQ and the Upside Down Shoe Repair Shop. In 1976, the store moved a few blocks away to its current home on Linden Avenue. Herb Trotman is the owner and continues to provide quality instruments, lessons, and repairs to customers.
