Indie rock band MRYGLD (pronounced ‘marigold’), from here in Birmingham, is “All The Rage.” The band was formed this year by Shane Jewell (lead guitar) and Brandon Snipes (vocals, guitar) and . They have two lead singers in Brandon Snipes and Shane’s wife, Alyssa Jewell who also plays keys. The Jewells were introduced to Snipes in 2015, and immediately bonded over similar tastes in music. They continued playing in their own bands, but ultimately formed MRYGLD a year later when Will Johnston on drums and James McCauley on bass completed the band.
Their previously unreleased single, “All The Rage,” is featured here this New Music Monday to help you immerse into those sunny day vibes. This upbeat Indie Rock single is the perfect tune to add to your summer playlist. Snipe’s voice is mesmerizing and “All The Rage” brandishes an infectious melody with driving yet joyful rhythms. The self-titled Ep will be out in stores, and available on iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon on Friday June 23 (right in line with the first day of summer).
